Niagara tames Tigers, 3-0
GILLETT, Wis. — Niagara traveled to Gillett for Marinette-Oconto Conference action Tuesday night as the Lady Badgers won in straight sets, 3-0 (25-13, 25-12, 25-16).
“The girls are continuing to be aggressive at the net with Bailey Person and Morgan Borchardt leading in kills with eight kills each. Abby Wells had an impressive night as well with 10 digs and eight service aces. Overall, my team continues to improve with confidence and communication,” said Niagara head coach Carol St. Arnauld.
The Badgers have important matches on Thursday against Suring and Wausaukee, St. Arnauld added.
“My team needs to keep their focus. I am looking forward to what the rest of the season holds for this group. I truly believe if the girls keep pushing themselves, great things lie ahead,” she said.
Niagara travels to Wausaukee on Thursday for a M&O Conference triangular with the host Lady Rangers and Suring, while Suring will travel to Niagara to face the Badgers in a dual on Tuesday.
