Mercedes Simmons

HAMMOND, Ind. — Mercedes Simmons, a sophomore forward from Crystal Falls, scored eight points for Purdue Northwest in a 59-56 win over Northern Michigan University on Monday.

Simmons had a season-high 13 points in a 78-72 loss to Northwood on Saturday.

The Pride are 5-9 overall in 2-5 in the GLIAC this season. Simmons is averaging 3.5 points and 1.6 rebounds per game.
