MADISON, Wis. — The Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association released its 2022 girls playoff brackets on Sunday night. Locally, Niagara earned a No. 3 seed in the Division 5 Sectional 2 bracket, while Florence was given a No. 5 seed.

As the three seed, the Lady Badgers (14-7) have a bye in the first round of the regional, which begins Tuesday, Feb. 22. Niagara will play the winner of No. 11 Goodman-Pembine and No. 6 seed Lena on Friday, Feb. 25 at a site to be determined. The game will start at 7 p.m.

Florence (13-7) will open regional play on Tuesday, Feb. 22, with a home matchup against Gibraltar (0-21). Should the Ladycats win, they will face the winner of the No. 4 Gillett against No. 13 White Lake game on Friday, Feb. 25, at a site to be determined. Game time would be 7 p.m.

Laona-Wabeno earned the No. 1 seed in the Sectional 2 bracket, while Three Lakes was seeded No. 2.
