Nordics dominate Great Lakes 8 Central awards

IRON MOUNTAIN — In its return to the varsity football scene, the North Dickinson 8-player varsity football team dominated the Great Lakes 8-player Conference Central Division awards this week.
After leading the Nordics to a 6-3 overall record and a perfect 4-0 conference record, head coach Mike Christian was named conference Coach of the Year. North Dickinson also took home Team of the Year honors.
The awards didn’t stop there as junior quarterback Brady Jungwirth took home Offensive Player of the Year while junior defensive back Spencer Kramer also was named the Defensive Player of the Year.

North Dickinson running back Jason Graham received First Team offense honors. He was joined by Spencer Kramer (hybrid), Richard Haney (offensive line) and Trenton Kramer (kicker).
The Nordics were also represented on the First Team defense as Jungwirth (defensive back), Miles Lindholm (defensive line) and Tyler Fleming (hybrid) all were on the list.
Ty King (wide receiver) and Nathan Conery (offensive line) were named to the Second Team offense.
