This year, for the first time, two U.P. teams reached the finals. Dickinson County’s Team Cavalieri — Steve, Chris, Tony and Lucas Cavalieri — placed second in the day-long tournament at the Ray Mariucci Courts.
Teams from the Lower Peninsula rounded out the top finishers. The third place team included Don Leske, Doug Seman, Max Hartman and John Hartman, while Sal Lini, Jason Rockey and Mike Grasser placed fourth. Lini, of Lake Orion, was a member of a national championship team in 2024.
Sylvan Lake is slated to host the 2026 tournament.
