Kingsford captains to lead Green Knights’ homecoming

DE PERE, Wis. — St. Norbert College football holds a 2-1 record in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference and hosts Eureka College for homecoming on Saturday.

Kickoff is at 1 p.m. at Donald J. Schneider Stadium.

The Green Knights are coming off a 17-14 road win against Wisconsin Lutheran College in Wauwatosa, Wis. Quarterback Michael Meneguzzo of Kingsford completed nine of 15 passes for 104 yards.

Through five contests, Meneguzzo, a senior, has passed for 628 yards with seven touchdowns and two interceptions.

Teammate Lucas Tappy, a senior offensive lineman from Kingsford, was named to the All-NAAC first team in both 2023 and 2024. Meneguzzo and Tappy are among four 2025 St. Norbert team captains.

The St. Norbert roster also includes senior offensive lineman Lane Nehring of Hermansville and three Kingsford freshmen — quarterback Nic Novara, offensive lineman Wyatt Shippy and linebacker Brettin Rouse.

St. Norbert, 2-3 overall, closes out its regular season with five conference games, including Saturday’s homecoming. They’ll host Rockford University on Oct. 25 and Benedictine University on Nov. 1.

The Green Knights are on the road against Aurora University on Nov. 8 and Lakeland University on Nov. 15.
