Elsie Williams’ 24 points lifted Forest Park to a 60-44 win at Bark River-Harris on Tuesday.

The Lady Trojans also got 15 points from Audrey Williams.

“Our girls played tough defense,” said Forest Park coach Kim Bjork. “We hustled and finished the fourth quarter strong.”

The Trojans led just 46-41 entering the final frame, but finished with a 14-3 run.

“I think we wore them down at the end,” Bjork said. “We shared the ball well.”

Also contributing to the FP offense were Harper Anderson, eight points; Vienna Price, seven points and four assists; Tessa Bartoszek, four points; and Aubrey Waara-Shamion, two points.

Elsie Williams connected on 4 of 9 triples, while the Trojans as a team were 9 of 29 from long range. They made 11 of 14 free throws.

Forest Park had 14 steals — five by Elsie Williams.

Bark River-Harris was led by Emma Zawada’s 15 points. The Broncos made 11 of 23 free throws.

Forest Park (9-4) plays at Kingsford (9-2) tonight.
