ESCANABA — Bay College men’s basketball will host a National Junior College Athletic Association Great Lakes District C quarterfinal game at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time Tuesday against Kirtland Community College.

A win would send the Norse into a District C semifinal game at 11 a.m. Thursday against either Lansing CC or Kellogg CC at Mott Community College in Flint.

The district champion will advance to the NJCAA National Tournament in Danville, Illinois.

The Norse finished the regular season at 22-6 overall and 11-3 in the MCCAA, placing second in the Northern Division.

William Kelley, a sophomore guard from Florence, Wis., has averaged 10.7 points, 2.9 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game for Bay. He has made 55 of 65 free throws for a team-leading percentage of 84.6.
