Giuliani named to UP hoops Dream Team
Kriegl, Price earn first team honors

Westwood’s Ethan Marta was named Mr. Basketball for the Upper Peninsula in awards announced Friday by the U.P. Sportswriters and Sportscasters Association.
Marta, a senior who has committed to play basketball at Michigan Tech, was also named Player of the Year in Division 1-3. Dollar Bay senior Liam Tourtillott was tabbed as Player of the Year in Division 4.
Forest Park junior Vic Giuliani was a Dream Team selection.
Division 1-3 first team picks included Kingsford senior Jack Kriegl. The Flivvers’ Jett Buckley, a junior, was joined on the second team by Iron Mountain junior Brayden Kassin.
Special mention in Division 1-3 went to West Iron sophomore Seth Oberlin. Iron Mountain junior Charles Baldridge gained honorable mention.

Lyle Price, a Forest Park freshman, was named to the Division 4 first team. The second team included Trojans junior Dax Hukki, along with North Dickinson junior Trenton Kramer.
Earning special mention in Division 4 were North Dickinson senior Spencer Kramer and North Central junior Kaden Malone. Honorable mention picks in Division 4 included North Central senior Brooks Castle, North Dickinson seniors Brady Jungwirth and Ty King, Forest Park junior Izaiah Tarter and Norway senior Anthony Pineda.
Team of the Year honors went to Marquette in Division 1-2, Menominee in Division 3 and Dollar Bay in Division 4.
