Marian University baseball (14-23, 8-16 NACC) finished its season Friday with a split against St. Norbert falling 3-2 before a 9-8 victory at Joe Braun Field in Fond du Lac, Wis.

Carson McLean, a junior from Iron Mountain, pitched three innings in the second game victory, allowing four earned runs.

For the season, McLean compiled a record of 5-1 in 15 appearances. He logged 45 innings of work, striking out 22 with a 6.40 ERA.

In a 15-13 win against Dominican Illinois on April 14, he picked up the win, allowing no earned runs and striking out six in five innings of relief work.
