FLORENCE, Wis. — The next Outdoor Education program will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, in the lower level conference room of the Florence Natural Resource Center, 5628 Forestry Drive on the corner of U.S. 2 and Highway 101/70 in Florence.

Taylor Flannery, owner of Musky Guarantee Guide Service, will be the guest speaker. Taylor has been guiding in the Langlade, Oneida, and Vilas counties region for the past four years. He is also a member of the Boundary Waters Musky Club.

Taylor will share his expertise on auto charting to develop on the spot locations, how to up your efficiency and how to plan a day on the water based on wind direction. Come learn how to become a more efficient and effective musky fisherman.

There will be plenty of time for specific questions and answers.

Randy Pearson, president of the Boundary Waters Musky Club, will also be in attendance to answer questions about their non-profit organization. This group hosts outings and holds meetings throughout the year.

The club’s purpose is to educate the public with respect to the muskellunge, including preservation of habitat, stocking programs, the practice of catch and release, and also to promote the preservation and conservation of the muskellunge as a natural resource.
