Junior LL tourney starts Wednesday

Iron Mountain North Little League will host the Juniors (ages 13-14) District 10 tournament beginning Wednesday at LiUNA Field in Iron Mountain. Gladstone and Kingsford are scheduled to play at 3 p.m. Wednesday, with the winner advancing to face Iron Mountain at 5 p.m. Wednesday. A loser's bracket elimination game is scheduled for 3 p.m. Thursday, followed by the championship game at 5 p.m. Thursday. If necessary, a winner-take-all title game will be played at 4 p.m. Friday. Camp of Champs sessions start Tuesday

The 2026 Jamie Angeli's Basketball Camp of Champs begins Tuesday at Kingsford High School and Middle School gymnasiums. Campers in grades 3-8 sessions run through Friday, with boys at 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and girls from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Registrations will be accepted at the door on Tuesday on a limited first-come first-serve basis at 9 a.m. for boys and at 1 p.m. for girls. For high school age campers in grades 9-12, the camp sessions begin on July 13 and run through July 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. Registrations will be accepted at the door on Monday, July 13, at 9 a.m.
