Top U-M hoops recruit injured

ANN ARBOR, Mich. (AP) — One of Michigan's top recruits, guard Brandon McCoy Jr., will miss the 2026-27 season for the defending national champion Wolverines after suffering a right knee injury. New Michigan coach Mike Boynton Jr. announced on Tuesday that McCoy suffered an ACL injury to his right knee. McCoy was ranked as the No. 14 prospect in the country by 247Sports.
