First, close all the satellite clinics that are not in Dickinson County.

Second, put them up on the market for sale — you bought them when you were making money. Keep the hospital running and get the doctors here in the county — no need to go 30 miles round trip to get a finger prick for testing when you can get it at the hospital 3 to 5 miles away.

Dickinson County Healthcare System must remain in Michigan and quit trying to get bigger. We just need to get better. Thank you and good luck.

Rummage sale signs unsightly

Everyone worries about litter but yet those people who have rummage sales or garage sales leave their signs all over the town. The address is right there, –why don’t they pay fines for leaving papers on every street intersection?

Something should be done about this, to keep our city clean.
