A note about the Car Plunge Contest

Speak Out

Every year the Rotary Club has its Car Plunge Contest. Winters are long, so it’s a fun contest to enter to help pass the days.

I went to two major grocery stores in the Iron Mountain area to obtain entrance forms — neither one had any. They said nobody ever brought any in.

If the Rotary Club wants to make money on their contest, they need to make the forms available.

When the contest is over, they advertise the date and time the car plunged but not the winner. Why?
