Hours set for trick-or-treating

(Betsy Bloom/Daily News photo) Audrey’s Ravioli Shop in Niagara, Wis., again has an impressive array of scary decorations for Halloween, easily visible along U.S. 141 just north of the curve at County Road N. Shop owner Shannon Wilcox said she first started assembling her collection after taking over the business at 393 Roosevelt Road from her mother, Audrey Brown, in 2014 and has tried to expand it each year. She and husband Matt usually begin putting up the display the third week of September, taking about a week to get everything in place. They now have about 14 major figures, she said, adding that next year will be all statues rather than the inflatable figures, which she finds difficult to maintain. Surprisingly they don’t usually get trick-or-treaters at the business, which also is their home, so Halloween evening will be taking 4-year-old daughter Brynlee and 2-year-old son Brantlee out in a different part of the city.

Ninjas, princesses, cyborgs, ghosts and a host of other characters will soon make their rounds in the region.
