Women’s club hears library program

Megan Rose, the director of the Dickinson County Library who was chosen as the Librarian of the Year by the State of Michigan, was the guest speaker for the February luncheon meeting of the Iron Mountain/Kingsford General Federation of Women’s Clubs. She had a slide presentation that showed the many things available at the Dickinson library branches, such as books in Braille, Wonder Books that have audio built into the cover, therapy lamps, a stationary bike to ride at the library, ukuleles and snowshoes. Patrons can even take certain books that may not need to be returned and there are many programs presented throughout the year.

Starting at $3.50/week.
