AURORA, Wis. – A 12-year-old boy died Monday evening after being struck by a vehicle that also hit a utility pole, causing a power outage in the Town of Aurora in eastern Florence County. Florence County Dispatch received multiple 911 calls at 6:16 p.m. Monday that a vehicle had collided with the utility pole on County Road N east of Aurora Liquors, according to a news release from Florence County Sheriff Teresa Chrisman. Taking steps after dog attacked

I was walking my dog recently and six dogs were loose — three were pit bulls — and came and attacked my dog. He ran all the way to my house where they cornered him. Luckily I got there in time to get him inside and chase the dogs away. He had quite a few punctures and lacerations from that. A week later, a dog got free from its leash while being walked and chased us and attacked my dog again! This time I had pepper spray. Something needs to be done with this.
