Taking steps after dog attacked

I was walking my dog recently and six dogs were loose — three were pit bulls — and came and attacked my dog. He ran all the way to my house where they cornered him. Luckily I got there in time to get him inside and chase the dogs away. He had quite a few punctures and lacerations from that. A week later, a dog got free from its leash while being walked and chased us and attacked my dog again! This time I had pepper spray. Something needs to be done with this. Dear Heloise: When it’s time to restock your pill dispenser from your personal pharmacy, it can be challenging to remember which time of day to take them or how many pills to take. To make this process easier, consider using a magic marker to write when to take each pill on top of the cap, such as “a.m.,” “p.m.,” or whatever time you need them. MARQUETTE — The Marquette Regional History Center will present “Wild Wild West — the Forgotten History of West Washington Street: A Walking Tour” with Jim Koski at 6:30 p.m. Eastern time Wednesday, June 18.
