Coffeehouse ribbon cutting

The Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Organic Grounds Coffeehouse, which opened in the former Bond Decorating building at 215 E. Hughitt St. in downtown Iron Mountain. Organic Grounds serves organic and fair trade coffee and espresso, along with organic, dye-free coffee syrups. Everything served at Organic Grounds is gluten-free, with many allergen-friendly options available. “We use meat and eggs that are raised locally, making sure that they were fed organically,” owner Danielle Flemming said. “Come in and see how we are ‘brewing something better.'” From left, in back are Suzanne Larson, chamber executive director; Organic Grounds co-owner Matt Fleming; Donna Rahoi, UP State Bank; Denise Lind, The Advertiser; Sandi Petroff, First National Bank & Trust; Teresa Schettler, Dickinson County Healthcare System, and Gary Fish, Northern Interstate Bank. In front are Olivia and Addison Fleming; Organic Grounds co-owner Danielle Fleming; and Jolie Fleming.
