May 15 deadline for youth football

IRON MOUNTAIN — Registration is open for the upcoming season of the Central U.P. Youth Football League. This is a tackle football league open to all current fourth through seventh graders — fifth through eighth graders for the 2025-2026 school year. Youths from the following areas are welcome to play — Bark River; Escanaba (fifth and sixth only); Forest Park (fifth and sixth only); Iron Mountain; Kingsford; North Central; Norway and West Iron County (fifth and sixth only). Free meal offered on Thursday

IRON MOUNTAIN — A free meal will be available at 5 p.m. Thursday at First Global Methodist Church, 106 Fourth St., behind the Hardee’s restaurant in Iron Mountain.

NARFE lunch on May 27 in Norway

NORWAY — The National Active and Retired Federal Employees group will meet at noon Tuesday, May 27 at Mike’s on Main in Norway.  This will be the last NARFE meeting until September.  All are welcome to attend.

PEO Chapter AN to gather
