Stamp club meets on Tuesday
IRON MOUNTAIN — The monthly meeting of the Northwoods Philatelic Society stamp club is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Fellowship Room of First Lutheran Church, 1210 S. Stephenson Ave. in Iron Mountain. The church is located between Domino’s Pizza and Slumberland Furniture. A short business meeting and educational program will be followed by the usual informal stamp club auction. FLORENCE, Wis. — The Northwoods Geology Club will begin their 2024 season of meetings at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, in the lower level of the Florence Natural Resource Center — follow the Division of Motor Vehicles signs to the back parking lot. All are encouraged to bring a favorite rock to show at the meeting. Also, if anyone has rocks, minerals or other items to give away or trade, bring them along. Women of Grace Ministry Spring Salad Luncheon set
PEMBINE, Wis. — The Women of Grace Ministry of Grace Lutheran Church in Pembine will host their annual Spring Salad Luncheon on Saturday, April 27. Serving will start at noon, but doors open at 11 a.m. to allow time for raffle and silent auction browsing and fellowship. The luncheon will include musical entertainment. Tickets are $10 per person. Texas Hold’Em tournament set for April 20
CASPIAN — The Caspian Gaastra Fire Department will host a fundraising Texas Hold’Em tournament starting at 6 p.m. Saturday, April 20. Registration will open at 5 p.m. at the fire hall in Caspian.
