A heat advisory has been issued locally through 7 p.m. Tuesday as hot weather and high humidity may cause heat illnesses, the National Weather Service said. Tuesday’s predicted high at Iron Mountain is 95 degrees, with a heat index value up to 105 degrees. “Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room if possible, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors,” NWS forecasters said.
