Joseph Haferkorn

NORWAY — After a courageous battle with cancer, Joseph “Joe” Roy Haferkorn, 83, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Marshfield Medical Center – Dickinson, surrounded by his loving family. Family will greet friends on Monday, May 18, from 9 to 11 a.m. at St. Barbara Catholic Church in Vulcan. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday, May 18, at 11 a.m. at the church, with Father Abraham Mupparathara officiating. Interment will follow at the Norway Township Cemetery. Arrangements were made with the Ortman Funeral Home in Norway.

NIAGARA, Wis. — Raphael R. Nault Jr., 83, of Niagara, Wis., passed away on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026, at Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center in Iron Mountain. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 1 p.m. at the Niagara Cemetery, Niagara, Wis. A celebration of life will follow at the North Star Bar after the burial. IRON MOUNTAIN — Nancy “Nan” Johnson, 89, Iron Mountain, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, March 18, 2026, at Evergreen Senior Living in Kingsford, from complications with dementia. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 19, at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, 1210 S. Kimberly Ave., with Pastor Nick Hopman officiating the memorial service at 11 a.m. The family has entrusted the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home of Iron Mountain with the arrangements.
