Battle of the Bands on Saturday

HARRIS — The Island Resort and Casino will host its annual Battle of The Bands on Saturday. Music kicks off at 4 p.m. Eastern time in the Island showroom.

Bands battling for a chance to perform on the big stage at the casino are Infantivore, Dying World, Tuesday Jones, Fatwood, Nolium, The Silver Cream Band and Tease. Additional prizes will be awarded. Admission is free.

Oz of the Iron Mountain area will perform at 8:30 p.m. Eastern time Friday and Saturday.

Broad Axe, Hermansville — Friday, Morning Star Karaoke (variety music), starting at 9 p.m.

Wild Horse Saloon, Iron Mountain — Saturday, Morning Star Karaoke (variety music), starting at 9 p.m.

Every day, rock/country music videos jukebox, played on six big-screen TVs.

Nutter’s Sports Bar and Grill, Powers — Saturday, karaoke (variety music), starting at 8 p.m.

Green Acres Golf Course, Pembine, Wis. — Saturday, Blind Ambition (rock and blues music), starting at 2 p.m.

Woody’s Bar and Grill, Crivitz — Saturday, The Dirty Martinis (rockabilly music) at 8 p.m.
