The Goodman Armstrong Creek Lions Club hosted its annual Senior Christmas Dinner on Dec. 15 at the community center in Goodman, Wis. Many seniors came in and Santa delivered meals to those who could not. Included in the delivered meals were cookies donated by Debbie and Tim Thompson. The cookies were baked and beautifully hand-decorated by Barbie Maruszczak. The GAC Lions continue to honor the Lions Club motto: “We Serve.”
IRON MOUNTAIN — American Legion Post 50 will host its annual New Year’s Eve spaghetti dinner and raffle from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the post, 916 River Ave. A $5 ticket will provide attendees with dinner and entry into a drawing for prizes of $1,000, $500 and $250. Tickets are available at the door. The drawing will take place after the meal. Winners need not be present.
