DAR meeting Saturday

MUNISING — The Onagomingkway Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will have its annual meeting and potluck from noon to 3 p.m. Eastern time Saturday at the First United Methodist Church, 312 Lynn St. in Munising. Dickinson MARSP to meet on May 16

IRON MOUNTAIN — The Dickinson Chapter of the Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel will meet Thursday, May 16, at Pine Grove Country Club in Iron Mountain. Jonathan Ringel will give a presentation about the senior programs offered at the YMCA. A social hour, with coffee provided, will begin at 11 a.m., followed by a noon luncheon. A cash bar will also be available. The luncheon will feature stir fry with salad and a roll for $18. Doll club meeting slated

EAGLE RIVER, Wis. — The Enchanted Doll Club of the Northwoods will have its monthly meeting at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 16, in the meeting room of the Kalmar Senior Center, 1011 N. Railroad St. in Eagle River. The meeting will focus on dolls that come with suitcases of clothes and accessories. A large variety of dolls with suitcases have been made beginning with the antique dolls of the 19th century. Barbie and American Girl carried on the tradition. Applicants sought for Zonta scholarship

IRON MOUNTAIN — The Zonta Club of Iron Mountain-Kingsford is again offering the Nora Flemington Adult Educational Scholarship in the amount of $1,500. The scholarship will be awarded to assist adult women who wish to pursue further education in preparation for re-entry into the job market, or to women who have completed their undergraduate degree and wish to pursue graduate or professional studies. Women’s club meets Friday

IRON MOUNTAIN — The Iron Mountain-Kingsford General Federation of Women’s Clubs will meet at noon Friday at Pine Grove Country Club in Iron Mountain. The lunch menu will include beef stroganoff, breadsticks, coffee and cupcakes. Cost is $18, all inclusive. A chef salad is the alternate dish.
