Women of Grace Ministry Spring Salad Luncheon set

PEMBINE, Wis. — The Women of Grace Ministry of Grace Lutheran Church in Pembine will host their annual Spring Salad Luncheon on Saturday, April 27. Serving starts at noon, but doors open at 11 a.m., for raffle and silent auction browsing and fellowship. The luncheon will include musical entertainment. Tickets are $10 per person. To reserve a ticket, call the church office at 715-324-5899. Tickets also can be purchased at the door the day of the event.

N-V Women’s Club serving spaghetti dinner Saturday

NORWAY — The Norway-Vulcan Women’s Club will serve a traditional spaghetti dinner Saturday at the Crossroads Methodist Church Hall on Odill Drive in Norway, behind the Jake Menghini Historical Museum on U.S. 2. Stamp club to meet April 16

IRON MOUNTAIN — The monthly meeting of the Northwoods Philatelic Society stamp club is scheduled for 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, in the Fellowship Room of First Lutheran Church, 1210 S. Stephenson Ave. in Iron Mountain. The church is located between Domino’s Pizza and Slumberland Furniture. A short business meeting and educational program, will be followed by the usual informal stamp club auction. Beechwood Historical Society hosts Soup and Salad Bar event

IRON RIVER TOWNSHIP — The Beechwood Historical Society will host a Soup and Salad Bar fundraiser Saturday, April 13, at the Beechwood Hall. A variety of soups, fixings for a salad, bread, dessert and beverage will be served from 4 to 6 p.m. The all-you-can-eat dinner is $10 per person. They will also have raffle baskets. The event is a fundraiser to heat the buildings. The hall is on 178 Beechwood Store Road, off U.S. 2 7.5 miles west of Iron River.
