Quilt guild to meet Tuesday

FLORENCE, Wis. — The Wild Rivers Quilt Guild invites all area quilters and enthusiasts to its upcoming meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 900 Central Ave. in Florence. The program will feature Kristi Droese, owner and manager of Windswept Quilts near Milwaukee. She will share some quilts that she has made using her Accuquilt Go Cutter. Legion Post 50 to host cribbage tournament

IRON MOUNTAIN — The Uren-Cooper-Johnson American Legion Post 50 of Iron Mountain will host a monthly cribbage tournament Saturday, with games to start at 1 p.m. Cost is $20 a team, 25 cents for a 19 hand. Tournaments are planned every third Saturday of each month. The post is at 916 River Ave. in Iron Mountain.

NARFE meets on Oct. 24

NORWAY — The National Active and Retired Federal Employees, or NARFE, meeting is scheduled for noon Tuesday, Oct. 24, at Mike’s on Main restaurant in Norway. All are welcome to attend.

Fall Harvest Craft Show on Oct. 28

GOODMAN, Wis. — The Goodman-Armstrong Creek Varsity Club will again host its annual Fall Harvest Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 28, at the G-AC High School gym. The 18th annual event will feature more than 40 crafters and will include a Polish food concession. They will also have a bake sale and bucket raffles. Admission is free.
