FLORENCE, Wis. — The Northwoods Geology Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Florence natural Resource Center in Florence.

This month’s presentation will be by John Roberts, on “Early Earth Geology: Continental Collision in Florence County.”

This is the presentation he will give to the Natural Resources Association of Wisconsin on Aug. 17 and again on Sept. 14.

Follow the DMV signs to the lower level parking area. All ages are welcome to attend.

Coffee and snacks are available during the evening and there always are door prize drawings after the meeting. Donations are graciously accepted.
