Recipients are determined by a system that awards points for scholarship, total credits earned and participation in extracurricular activities. The Badger Awards have been sponsored by Forward Financial Credit Union since 1993.

In addition to individual plaques, each Badger Award recipient receives a $1,000 scholarship and has his and her name engraved on a permanently displayed plaque in the school trophy case.

The awards were announced by Char Liebergen, FFCU executive assistant/public affairs specialist, and Brenda Swanson, FFCU accounting manager, during the school’s recent virtual awards program.
