MARQUETTE — The Upper Peninsula Commission for Area Progress is offering a new virtual support group for caregivers.

The caregiver support group will meet virtually from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Eastern time on the second Tuesday of each month, beginning March 9.

Support groups can provide a safe place to share feelings, get social support, learn from others, discuss caregiving skills, learn about local resources and talk confidentially with other caregivers.

A computer, tablet or smartphone with internet connection and an email address is needed to participate.
