CRYSTAL FALLS — The Crystal Falls Musicale had its October meeting at Christ United Methodist Church in Crystal Falls.

The theme for the meeting was International Dinner, with this year’s country being France. A French meal was prepared by committee members Marsha Wainio, Kim Olson, Margie Surface, Joyce Ziegler and Chris Perry.

Special guests were Forest Park’s French exchange student Amaury Grollcau and his American hosts Nick and Vern Engstrom. He gave a presentation about France and how he is adjusting to life in the Crystal Falls area.

The organization has decided the annual Musicale Holiday Tea, a fundraiser for Forest Park Band Camp scholarships, will be postponed this year due to Covid-19.
