Event today at the Niagara museum
NIAGARA, Wis. — The Niagara Area Historical Society will host a Christmas open house and “surprise” celebration for Society President Karen Klenke’s 80th birthday from 1 to 4 p.m. today at the museum.
Attendees can also check out the museum’s new display — a collection of Byers’ Choice Carolers.
These handmade Christmas figures were provided by the family of Sharon and Ray Ponzio, who were charter members of the Historical Society.
Tours of the museum will also be given.
Cake and refreshments will be served for the event.
The society requests no gifts, but donations to the museum are welcome.
The museum is at 1364 River St. in Niagara.
