IRON MOUNTAIN — The Dickinson County Library has announced upcoming events for February. They include:

— Beginning Monday, Feb. 14, adults can pick up Love Your Library Prize Hearts at the library in Iron Mountain. The first 16 adult patrons who fill out a form explaining why they love their library will be able to choose a heart that comes with a piece of chocolate and a prize such as a free paperback book from the Friends of the Library Book Sale, book bag, bookmark, or more candy. The library will collect all reasons and post them on social media.

— Tooth Troubles Storytime: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15 at the Dickinson County Library in Iron Mountain and at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 17 at the North Dickinson Branch.

— Celebrate National Children’s Dental Health Month with these programs for children through 5 that include stories, songs, and a fun craft to take home. Registration is required; call a local branch to sign up. Storytimes can be streamed live on Zoom for interested patrons; call 906-774-1218 to inquire or check the events calendar on the library’s website, www.dcl-lib.org, for more information. This program is sponsored by Northwoods Pediatric Dentistry; get free toothbrushes and toothpaste while supplies last.

— Ask about Take-N-Make Craft Kits for kids and adults. Call any local branch or inquire at the circulation desk to see what they have available each week.
