FLORENCE, Wis. — The Florence County Fair Board will host another smear tournament Saturday at the Florence Community Center, 749 Central Ave. in Florence.

Registration for the tournament begins at 5 p.m., with the tournament starting at 6 p.m. The fee to enter is $10 per person. Two-person teams will play a four-point smear game.

Prizes will be awarded for first to fifth places. Door prizes also will be available that will be drawn after the tournament.

A small lunch will be available for purchase along with beverages (soda and beer). Bake sale items provided by local bakers will be available as well. Chips and pretzels will be provided. No carry-ins will be admitted.

All proceeds will go to support the building and ground improvements at the Florence County Fair park.
