IRON RIVER — The Iron County Genealogical Society will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday in the J. Patrick White conference room at the West Iron District Library.

This will be an informal meeting with emphasis on Civilian Conservation Corps camps in or near Iron County. Of special interest would be local men who served in other localities.

Members and guests are encouraged to bring in oral stories from CCC volunteers, their families or friends; articles; artifacts or other memorabilia to share with the group.

Visitors are welcome. Meetings are open to all individuals and take place monthly in the J. Patrick White conference room of the West Iron District Library.
