Attorney, guardianship presentation set in Aurora
AURORA, Wis. — The Aging and Disability Resource Center of Florence County will host a free Powers of Attorney and Guardianship Presentation from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at the Northeastern Wisconsin Technical College Woodland Cafe in Aurora.
Julia Veenendaal, an attorney for the Elder Rights Project with Judicare Wisconsin, will discuss the topic of advance planning. She will provide information on key topics, such as financial power of attorney, health power of attorney, guardianship and more.
This is an opportunity to learn how to prepare for the future and get answers to advance planning questions. Registration is required for this event. Lunch at the Woodland Cafe is available before the presentation on a donation basis. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. and reservations are required, as space is limited.
