Autumn Comforts Quilt Show this weekend in Marquette

MARQUETTE — The Marquette County Quilters Association will have its 2026 Autumn Comforts Quilt Show from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Eastern time Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Ojibwa Casino, 105 Acre Trail, Marquette. This biannual show will feature more than 200 quilts on display, along with door prizes and basket raffles. Admission is $5. MCQA has worked as a team to make a beautiful quilt, “Northern Lights‚” that measures 108 by 108 inches and will be raffled off, with the winner being announced at 3 p.m. Monday, at Peter White Library. HANCOCK — Artist booth applications are now being taken for the 50th-annual Poor Artists Sale, an annual juried holiday art fair hosted by the Copper Country Community Arts Council as a benefit for the Community Arts Center in Hancock.
