IRON MOUNTAIN — The monthly meeting of the Northwoods Philatelic Society stamp club will be 7 p.m. Tuesday in the fellowship room of First Lutheran Church, 1210 S. Stephenson Ave. in Iron Mountain. A short business meeting and educational program will be followed by the usual informal stamp club auction. Members are encouraged to bring up to five lots for the auction, and the club will also auction lots of recently acquired stamps. KINGSFORD — Kingsford High School announces the schedule for scholarship recipients to pick up their checks at the high school. Scholarship checks can be picked up during these days/hours: — Monday through Thursday: 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 2:30 p.m. (Offices are closed at noon for lunch.) — Fridays: 8 a.m. to noon. Recipients should refer to the reminder letter previously sent regarding documents that must be brought to the office to obtain the scholarship checks.
