The Balsam Street Christian Church youth group of Kingsford recently collected and donated $200 and much-needed food items for Backpack Blessings, a program at Breitung Township Schools which sends food home each weekend to children in need. Marci Veale, director of the Backpack Blessings program, presented the youth group with a certificate of appreciation.
