Jean O’Dette, atop the ladder, positions hearts as leaves on a tree she, Dave Kayser and Carrie Stroud put up Tuesday on a window at The First National Bank & Trust office in downtown Iron Mountain. The three, who all work in retail lending and mortgages at the bank, said they put up 92 hearts with the names of all the bank’s employees. Hundreds of similarly decorated windows and homes around the Upper Peninsula can be seen in the “Hearts of Hope-Yooper Strong!!” Facebook page, part of a wider response to show support during the coronavirus pandemic.
