NIAGARA, Wis. –Officers of the Niagara Lions Club have announced that the annual picnic celebration scheduled for June 26-27 has been canceled, due to ongoing concerns about the pandemic.

“The decision was made very reluctantly after much forethought and deliberation and consideration of other options,” said Kerry Grippen, club secretary.

Next year’s Lions Picnic will be held June 25-26, 2021, at which time it is hoped that traditional activities, including the parade, Miss Niagara coronation, and fireworks can be held.
