IRON MOUNTAIN — The annual golf tournament fundraiser scheduled for June 20 to benefit the U.P. Veterans Memorial Park along with the U.P. Honor Flight has been canceled this year due to coronavirus concerns.

The golf outing has been rescheduled to June 19, 2021. Those behind the event would like to thank corporate sponsor Lake Shore Systems, as well as the hole sponsors and golfers, for all they do to support these two organizations. See you all next year.

The U.P. Veterans Memorial Park on Pine Mountain will only open on Memorial Day weekend May 23 though 25. The restrooms will remain closed until further notice and the pavilion will not be rented. This is not only because of the COVID-19 virus but also safety reasons due to ongoing construction at the Big Pine Mountain ski jump scaffold and venue this summer.
