School, township, county meetings scheduled

The Florence County School Board will meet at 5 p.m. today in Room 259 of Florence High School. The agenda includes school nursing services. The board will then have a budget committee meeting at 5:15 p.m. to discuss the 2020-21 spending plan.

Iron Mountain Public Schools Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. today via a virtual conference line on YouTube. The link will be available on the front page at imschools.org five minutes before the meeting. The agenda includes principal reports, letters of resignation and the hiring of a high school tennis coach.

Norway Township Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. today at the Norway Township Hall in Vulcan. The meeting is open to the public, but social distancing must be observed.

The Dickinson County Board will meet at 6 p.m. today in the circuit courtroom the courthouse, observing social distancing. The agenda includes an emergency management update.

The Breitung Township Board agenda includes review of a possible fireworks ordinance and an offer to purchase a vacant lot at 629 E. Breen Ave.

Waucedah Township Board will meet at 7 p.m. today at the township hall in Loretto, with social distancing to be observed.

The Iron County Board is scheduled to meet at 4 p.m. Tuesday at the courthouse in Crystal Falls.

The Dickinson County Road Commission will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the commission office at 1107 S. Milwaukee Ave. Iron Mountain. The Breitung Township Schools Board meeting scheduled for today has been rescheduled to 7 p.m. Monday, July 20. This will be in an in-person meeting in the board room at Woodland Elementary School.
