NEGAUNEE — Detectives Friday arrested a 56-year-old man from Menominee for charges related to manufacturing methamphetamine, said Det./Lt. Timothy Sholander of the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team.

UPSET obtained information and determined the suspect was manufacturing meth at his residence located on 10th Street in Menominee, Sholander said. A search warrant was executed as officers from the Menominee City Police Department and firefighters from the Menominee City Fire Department assisted at the site, he said.

Detectives located components used to manufacture meth, as well as finished meth product. Investigation is ongoing and additional arrests are expected, Sholander said..
