Illinois man goes missing in region

MENOMINEE — The Menominee County Sheriff’s Office has requested the public’s help in locating an Illinois man who went missing Nov. 13 in a campground near the Big Cedar River in Cedarville Township.

Sheriff Kenny Marks asked that hunters, landowners and residents on the Big Cedar River from CR 366 downriver to the Bay of Green Bay watch for a body or clothing in the river or on the shore of the bay this holiday weekend.

Vladimir Ivanovic, 58, is described as 5 feet, 11 inches in height and 195 pounds, according to a sheriff’s department news release.

Any possible sighting should be reported by calling 911, Marks stated in the release.
