Frigid weather for Christmas
MILWAUKEE (AP) — Much of Wisconsin will see frigid temperatures this week, with wind chills expected to go well below zero by Friday morning.
The National Weather Service says an arctic cold front will sweep through on Wednesday, and dangerous wind chills are expected on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning.
At Iron Mountain-Kingsford, temperatures may climb into the 40s today before plummeting.
By Christmas Eve, wind gusts up to 25 mph will be accompanied by temperatures in the single digits.
The predicted high on Christmas is 18 degrees.
