IRON MOUNTAIN — Two people were injured Wednesday in a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Carpenter and Woodward avenues in Iron Mountain.

Firefighters were called out at 10:50 a.m., according to the Iron Mountain Fire Department. The IMFD provided patient care until emergency medical services arrived as well as cleaned up fluids and debris, returning to the station at 11:22 a.m.

Both drivers were treated at Dickinson County Memorial Hospital and released the same day, according to the Iron Mountain Police Department.

One driver was cited for failing to yield within an intersection, the IMPD said.
