QUINNESEC — A 76-year-old Norway man died after a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of U.S. 2 and Third Street in Quinnesec on Saturday, July 10.

Deputies were called to the crash at 11:40 a.m., according to Dickinson County Undersheriff Scott Metras.

Metras did not detail the circumstances of the crash as the incident is still under investigation and subject to review by the Dickinson County Prosecutor’s Office, he said.

One vehicle driven by a 45-year-old Iron Mountain man with three passengers was overturned.

The Norway man, who drove the second vehicle, was transported to Dickinson County Memorial Hospital, Metras said. He died July 12 at a Green Bay hospital.
