Getting ready for Tour de Dickinson
Dickinson Trail Network President Chad Susott and DTN secretary Lisa Wise unload signage Thursday for the 14th annual Tour de Dickinson Family Bike Ride, set to start at 8 a.m. Saturday. The ride is a fun, non-competitive event that offers five routes, from a family-friendly 4.62 miles to 40-plus miles, all starting and ending at Lake Antoine Park in Iron Mountain. For complete route details, go to the website at https://www.dtntrails.org/tourdedickinson. All routes will be marked with a different color, with signs as well as roads. Cyclists can register for the event from 5 to 7 p.m. today and from 7 to 8 a.m. Saturday. “We are expecting a good turnout,” Susott said. DTN is dedicated to creating a county-wide bike path and trail system that would be linked across the area. (Terri Castelaz/Daily News photo)
